Easter in the Barossa
Well we decided to take a trip to the Barossa valley for the Easter weekend and enjoy 4 days away. Luckily the weather was fab and although it was bloody cold on an evening it was lovely for autumn. We averaged about 2 wineries per day and I got very tipsy one day trying all the wines!! The kids had a fab time at the whispering wall which is a curved dam wall which if you whisper at one side you can be heard at the other, amazing really.
We had our own friendly possums come out every evening in the tree next to us and they let you feed them and stroke them so the kids were really happy about that. Barossa is such a lovely place to visit and there is so much to do we even went to a family fun day at a winery where there was eather egg hunts, clowns and face paiinting all free for the kids and me and Darren just sat and I drank a lovely bottle of red cos Darren was driving!!!
We are planning on going back up for the long weekend in June but that will be dependant upon the weather as it will be wimter then and maybe too wet and cold.
