SAYING GOODBYE AND WE ARE OFF!!!

So we had our leaving party on the 23rd April and it was a lovely evening we had a lot of laughs and a few tears but ony when people were leaving!!! The whole process is now over and we are on our way but the most hardest thing was saying goodbye to those most close to us. They family farewells were the hardest and absolutley heartbreaking but we knew it was the best thing for us to do and the kids knew too but didn't fully understand the emormity of it!! So today is the day we fly and will be staying in Singapore for 4 nights eventually arriving in Adelaide 05/05/05!!!

All Packed up and no-where to go!!!

So the shippers have been and packed up the whole house and the crate is now on its way to southampton and is due to arrive in Adelaide on 19th June. The whole process went well except for a few hiccups which namely were the fact that the shippers packed all the passports and tickets!! Darren forgot to take out his boots so he has no shoes as they been packed too!!!

We then put the wrong date on the cheque for Sasha and then sent a new pone which we forgot to sign!!! but other than that all went well and they did a fab job!! it is our leaving do tonight and a time for goodbyes and laughs and cries!! we are all less stressed now as we know this is the last leg of our journey. We oly have to arrange the luggage for yhe flight and stopover in singapore but with 15 pieces of luggage it isn't going to be easy but it will be fun!!

Last Day at work and Sasha has gone!!

Well we dropped Sasha off at the shippers yesterday and she will travel to Manchester airport on Tue, fly to Heathrow then onto Melbourne and spend 30 days in Quarantine!!! we can collect her on 21st May!!!

It is my last day at work today and I am feeling very sad. I have been fine all the way through the whole process but now the reality is setting in and I am actually feeling very anxious and nervous!! Roll on the 29 April when we fly!!

Getting Sorted

So now 17 days to go!!! Sasha is leaving for the shippers on thursday 14th April and will fly on the 19th. The shippers are coming on the 20/21/22 April and we move out on the 22nd April.
