Irish Dancing Star!

Kennadie has now been dancing for 20 months and is doing so well. This is a recent pic of her after she won 3 1st places a 2nd and a 3rd i her last comp of the year. Great results!

Meet Our Bezzie mates!!

As I have said before we have made some FAB mates here. This has made the process so much more enriching to meet friends who you know will be friends for life.

Morag and Alan are our best mates and we love them to bits. Many many a drunken night we have had with them as you can see from the pics!!!

Having such good freinds really is the best feeling, you are all in the same boat as they also emigrated 2 months before us. We met them in the Uk before we left and since being here have been inseperable. They are truly great friends with whom we have so much fun!!!

1980's Fancy Dress

Well my friend decided to have her birthday 1980's atyle. Soo we all donned our cheesyest outfits and prepared for a night of tacky music and bright coloured cocktails. What a laugh we couldnt stop laughing at all the ridiculous outfits.

We had a blast and really acted like we were 15 again it was great!!!

Kennadies 10th Birthday

Well our baby has now grown into double figures. She decided to have a fairy fancy dress party for her birthday and all her friends came dressed up. She had a lovely time with many fairy decorations and had a sleepover with 8 of her friends.

Irish Dancing Queen!!!

Kennadie had her first Irish dancing competition and did really well. She has been dancing since feb and this was her first competition and she managed to get a 7th place out of 20 girls so we were really pleased with her.

She is now progressing into hard shoe and is doing really well. I was such a sook and cried when she danced on stage. I was so proud of her and she looked wonderful!!

Whale Watching

Well we decided to go visit the whales this year seen as we missed them last year. We went to Basham Beach where the whales were about 30 metres ofshore. It was fabulous and we had hours of fun watching them show off. They migrate here every year to have their babies and stay from May to Oct. It was a wonderful sight to watch these huge creatures so close by.

The year of concerts!!

Well we have now been to see many bands with many more to come over the next 6 months!!! We had coldplay in July, Arctic Monkeys on Aug and Eskimo Joe in Sept. We have Pearl Jam in Nov and Robbie in Dec, the Big Day Out is in Feb 07 with a line up of Muse, The Killers, Jet, Eskimo Joe, Evermore and many more!! We also have the Chilli's in April so a mega concert year we have had!!!
